First Holy Communion

We just celebrated our niece's First Holy Communion this past weekend.  It was very beautiful, and there were one hundred children celebrating Communion!! They were so sweet in their dresses and suits.   


This painting is acrylic on stretched canvas.  I found the blessing online, and thought it would be a personal gift for her to hang in her room.  I couldn't find anything like this in the Christian bookstore nearby.

I plan on making a few versions of this for the Etsy shop.  I'd love to offer reasonably priced prints that could be customized with the child's name, date of their Holy Communion, and the name of the parish.  I'll also change the way I write the blessing, inserting it digitally instead of hand painting.  I'm never happy with the spacing and alignment when I paint lettering... must be my OCD coming out!
